Healthily to open the 27th WONCA Europe Conference, ExCeL London

23 June 2022 in Company

by Matteo Berlucchi CEO & Co-Founder at Healthily

After two years of Zoom meetings, in-person conferences are finally back. And because a hug is worth 1,000 zoom calls, I was delighted to accept the invitation to join the opening panel of the 27th WONCA Europe Conference on Wednesday, 29 June 2022, the most important annual gathering of General Practitioners and Family Doctors.

Healthily shares a similar vision and strategy with The World Organisation of Family Doctors (WONCA). We both want to improve the quality of life by fostering high standards. WONCA wants to do it with GPs, we want to do it with internet users.

In a world where inequality, ageing, multi-morbidities, technical advances and poor recruitment of medical professionals are challenging healthcare all over the world, I feel it’s important for healthcare technology companies and family doctors to come together and learn from each other.

I think the panel for our discussion at WONCA on the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence and telemedicine are vital.
