Why we’re on a mission to help a billion people find their health

07 March 2022 in Company

I often get asked what’s the ‘why’ behind our mission of helping a billion people ‘find their health’.

The question comes in two parts: why a billion and what does ‘find your health’ actually mean?

The answers are simple.

One billion searches

One billion is the number of people who search for health information on Google every day – and it was the number that motivated myself and Henrik Pettersen to found Healthily in 2014.

Every day one billion people seek precision, but find generic health information instead. The Healthily mission is to challenge that paradigm.

We use smart tech to understand what your individual health problem or question is so that we can deliver a completely personalised service. Once we know what you’re looking for, we share tailored, relevant, medically-validated information. And then we guide you on the action to take – your best next steps.

Find your health

We want to help a billion people find the information, products and services they need, quickly and safely, so they can take control of their health – find their health.

Unlike traditional search engines and magazine-style health websites, which can leave the user with decisions and choices to make, Healthily uses data and advanced algorithms to tailor recommendations and information for the individual, and therefore helps them decide what best next steps to take.

Every day we get a little closer to helping one billion people find their health with Healthily – why not find yours?
