Feeling cold in winter isn’t just uncomfortable — it can also affect your health.
For example, cold temperatures make your heart work harder to keep you warm and may raise your risk of a heart attack or stroke. They can also make asthma symptoms worse.
So it's important to keep your body warm as temperatures drop.
You can do this by heating your home to at least 18C. But if you're still feeling the cold, there are ways to keep warm without turning up the heat.
