Eaten too much? Try this

It’s easy to eat a little too much while celebrating the holiday season, but it can leave you feeling tired, bloated and annoyed with yourself.

When the urge to take a nap or hit the sofa strikes, remember one thing: stay on your feet.

Lying down after feasting may sound like a good idea, but it can actually make you feel worse.

How?

By slowing down your digestion, which can worsen acid reflux.

Give your food a proper chance to settle by doing something like going for a walk instead of napping. It may feel like the last thing you want to do, but you’ll feel better for it – physically and emotionally.

Most importantly, don’t dive into a spiral of shame. The holidays come once a year and most of us will over-indulge despite our best intentions.
