Healthily/Your.MD's Personal Health assistant is a chatbot that provides you personalized and trustworthy healthcare assistance and information. It is the first one-stop shop in assisted self-care (otherwise known as pre-primary care, allowing you to take control of all aspects of your health, from understanding different conditions to finding health information and services – all via chatbot. Since Healthily/Your.MD is chat-based, it’s been built to be accessible on multiple platforms namely through our website at www.livehealthily.com (our ''Site''), our smart app for Android and iOS (cumulatively referred to as our ''Apps'' or individually as “App”), our web-based application (our ''Web App''), various messengers (''Messengers''), our Blog and Free Basics.
Our services include Self-Assessment Tool (in older versions of our Apps known as Symptom Checker) (Check symptoms, Ask a question, Health tests (Quizzes, Self-Assessments and BMI Calculator) and Coronavirus Risk Assessment), Health Library (Health A-Z) and OneStop Health™ Marketplace, Back Pain Hub (currently available only to iOS users), Your health journey with Jornal functionality (currently available only to Android users) that includes: Articles, Reports (Assessment reports) and Trackers, Notes, Health Plans, Apple a day, Alerts/Reminders, Push Notifications, Self-Assessments, Blog, Symptoms A-Z and The Daily Drop-In (cumulatively referred to as our ''Services'' or individually as a ''Service'').
HEALTHILY APP IN COLLABORATION WITH THIRD PARTY
The Healthily app collaborates with and is supported by third parties (the “Co-branding Party”) in certain areas. None of your data is shared with the co-branding party without first obtaining your explicit consent.
Dettol supports Healthily in the Indian market. Dettol develops disinfectant and antiseptic cleaning products to protect families from everyday germs. The brand is owned by Reckitt Benckiser.
Guest User on Web App. When you use our Services on Web App, we will refer to you as Guest. As a Guest you will be able to use only this Services, namely Symptom Checker (and Coronavirus Risk Assessment), Health Library (Health A-Z) and OneStop Health™ Marketplace.
Guest on Android/iOS App. When you use our Services as Guest on our Android/iOS App, this means that you will be able to use all our Services without needing to register with your email/Google/Facebook account. If you are using older versions of our Apps you will be able to use only these Services: Self-Assessment Tool, Health Library and OneStop Health™ Marketplace.
Additional Users. We only allow you to use our Services for additional users (third parties) if you are a legal guardian of such persons, meaning you have the legal authority to care for the personal and property interests of such persons (parents for their children etc.). If you are not a legal guardian for an additional user, you should advise them to sign up for our Service and create their own account. We do not store data for additional users.
Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and any activities that occur within your Account. We currently do not provide additional password security apart from your email/Google/Facebook password, so please bear this in mind when signing up to our Services and allowing the usage of our Services or your email/Google/Facebook account to third parties. If you have any concerns that your Account may have been misused, you should contact us straight away to let us know.
Self-Assessment Tool (in older versions of our App and current Web App known as Symptom Checker).
By using our health chatbot you are able to check symptoms, ask any question, search for health information or just type in a health query. Whilst we are trying our best to help provide you with useful information, please bear in mind that our chatbot is not a human doctor, so whilst it can calculate different likely conditions based on your reported symptoms and by assessing the seriousness of such conditions, it is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, therapy or treatment. If you think you may have a medical emergency, call your doctor or the emergency services immediately.
CHECK SYMPTOMS, ASK QUESTIONS. The chatbot can calculate a list of possible health conditions based on your reported symptoms, basic info (gender, age etc.) and health background to guide you to the most likely cause of the symptoms ("Assessment Report"). You can insert your symptoms and our bot will ask you additional questions to help search for the possible conditions that match your reported symptoms. It will present you with different likely conditions and assess the seriousness of such conditions. It does this using the best mathematical approach to simulate the possible thought process of a doctor. Note that the information provided does not constitute a medical advice or diagnosis. The bot may present more than one possible condition. It will share its findings with you via chat and in the Assessment Report. If based on your reported symptoms our bot calculates that a possible cause of the reported symptoms is worrying, it will assess the need to visit a doctor within 24 or 48 hours without presenting a possible condition and you should contact a doctor or emergency services, depending on the circumstances. As no bot can be a substitute for a human doctor, it may not be able to calculate any possible condition. In such case, we will use the information we have received from you to improve our Services.
The seriousness of likely conditions will be marked in colours. When calculating likely emergency conditions (conditions displayed in the colour red) based on your reported symptoms, our bot will assess the need to call an ambulance or go to the hospital immediately. When calculating likely urgent conditions (conditions displayed in the colour orange) based on your reported symptoms, our bot will assess the need to see a doctor within the next 12 or 48 hours, depending on the seriousness of the condition. When calculating likely routine conditions (conditions displayed in the colour blue) based on your reported symptoms, our bot will assess the need to see a health professional within 2 weeks, if your symptoms do not improve. When calculating likely self-care conditions (conditions displayed in the colour green) based on your reported symptoms, our bot will assess there is no need to see a health professional, unless your symptoms change/worsen or you are concerned. However, regardless of the chatbot's assessment, if you think your situation may be serious, you should call a doctor or the emergency services immediately.
CORONAVIRUS RISK ASSESSMENT. You are able to access our Coronavirus Risk Assessment within chat. Based on the information provided (about your contacts with a person who has a confirmed diagnosis of coronavirus, reported symptoms and/or other information that will be updated to reflect the latest changes in coronavirus development), our chatbot will be able to assess the risk/likelihood of having the coronavirus (Covid-19) and help you decide on the next steps. Note that the information provided does not constitute a medical advice or diagnosis. If in doubt always consult with your doctor and follow your national authorities’ advice on how to behave during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.
HEALTH TESTS enable you to test your health knowledge with "Quizzes", check your own health using "Self-assessments” and to calculate your Body Mass Index with "BMI Calculator". The health tests are intended for educational and informational purposes only.
The Self-assessments consist of general questions and do not consider the information that you have entered into Your Profile or while talking to our chatbot. With self-assessments you can self-assess if there is a likelihood of having a certain condition.
With Quizzes you can carry out a quiz to see much you know about certain topics, such as first aid, sexual health etc.
While our bot strives to give you the best possible information it cannot consider all factors that your doctor can, such as medical and family history, physical examination, tests etc. The medical conditions it calculates based on what you report are merely possible conditions and they do not mean that you have any of these conditions or that you do not have any other worrying conditions, which it did not manage to calculate due to the limited information it uses. You should never rely on or make health or well-being decisions based on information provided by our Services without first consulting a doctor or other appropriate health professional. Our liability in relation to your use of the Self-Assessment Tool is as set out in the section on Our Liability and Disclaimer of Warranties below.
Assessment report (in older versions of our App known as "Consultation report") is available within Health Journal/My Journal, section "Reports". In older versions of our App you can access the Consultation report within your-inApp Profile, section “Consultations”. Our bot will strive to include all conditions that match your reported symptoms for each consultation. Each included condition will be presented in a way to provide a short summary, possible causes and reported symptoms. By clicking on a possible condition you will be presented with information about the possible condition's symptoms, how the possible condition is assessed, and how the possible condition is treated. You should read "When to Take Action" carefully and see a doctor in case of any of the symptoms stated therein. By clicking on the articel within section "Some useful reading", you will be redirected into our Health Library. If based on your reported symptoms our bot calculates that a possible cause for the reported symptoms is worrying, it will assess the need to visit a doctor within 24 or 48 hours without presenting a possible condition in the Assessment Report. As no bot can be a substitute for a human doctor, it may not be able to calculate a possible condition. In such case, the Assessment Report will be empty and you should contact a doctor or emergency services, depending on the circumstances. In these two instances, it may present an additional article for you to read.
You can delete Assessment Reports by clicking on the trash bin icon on the top right side of the Report.
Back Pain Hub (the "Hub") is currently available only to iOS users (except iOS users in India). Within the Hub you will be able to learn about possible causes for the back pain, build new habits and track the results over time. At the beginning you will be asked to self-assess if you have one of the “concerning symptoms” from the list. If you have severe pain that is getting worse and/or if you have one or more of the concerning symptoms talk to a doctor before continuing with assessment. By clicking “next (none of the symptoms)” you will go through a safety assessment prepared by our team of doctors where based on your answers to the questions about your underlying conditions, wellbeing and mobility problems it will be assessed whether the Hub is safe for your use (the “Safety Assessment”).
The Safety Assessment outcome will be marked in colours. When your answers provided to us suggest an Emergency (red colour of the safety assessment summary page), the need to see a doctor right away will be assessed. When your answers provided to us suggest an Urgent medical attention (orange colour of the safety assessment summery page), the need to see a doctor within the next 12 or 48 hours, depending on the provided answers, will be assessed. When your answers provided to us suggest a Routine attention (blue colour of the safety assessment summery page) the need to see a doctor within 2 weeks will be assessed. When your answers provided to us suggest that there is no need to see a doctor, unless symptoms carry on, get worse or you are worried, the safety assessment summary page (green colour) will show you the overview of your reported answers.
In case the need of emergent or urgent medical attention is assessed make sure you talk to a doctor before start using the Hub.
After completing the Safety Assessment you will be invited to create the Hub. Within the Hub you will be able to track your Symptoms (Back Pain) and Habits (Wellbeing, Exercises, Stretches, Walking, Sleep Quality and Mood) (in older versions of the App: Posture, Activity levels, Back exercises, Relaxation exercises, Pain medication) (all together referred to as “Back pain trackers”) on a daily basis.
By clicking on Symptoms and Habits listed in the Hub you will be able to see a summary of your weekly tracking for each symptom and habit.
By clicking on the “book” icon, you will be able to access “Simple daily habits” where you will be able to learn about “Managing back pain”, “Common posture mistakes and fixes”, Back pain: How staying active can help”, “Lower Back Pain”, “Relax and stay positive to beat back pain” and “The best painkillers for back pain”. The information provided is sourced directly from the UK’s NHS or is content created by our team of doctors, aiming to help you understand the benefits of daily habits for your back. The same content is available within the “Learn” section of the Hub.
Within “Discuss” and “Find help for back (Healthily loves)” sections you will be able to find product and services that might help. All providers listed in these sections are OneStop Health™ Providers. For more information about OneStop Health™ Providers please read “OneStop Health™ Marketplace” section.
You will be able to set and change your daily reminders (notifications), manage Back pain trackers or archive the Hub within the Hub settings at any time. If you decide to archive this hub we will move the hub from your home screen to the archive and you can restart your hub at any time.
We will send you daily notifications if you decide to set a reminder for the Hub to track your Symptoms and Habits and triweekly to check for updates.
We may send you different types of Push Notifications.
Contextual Push Notifications are based on the assessment outcome and we will use it to follow up with you to see how you are doing and provide useful information. We might send these types of notifications for self-care conditions namely Flu, Anxiety, GORD, Constipation, Sinusitis, Constipation, Hay Fever, Common Cold, Migraine, Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Sciatica. We might also send you push notifications based on the assessment, condition and/or symptom (if your assessment outcome is migraine, we might send you articles about this topic or invite you to track your symptom). We may also ask you about the usefulness of the assessment outcome.
We may use your in-App Profile data to send you personalised push notifications. For example, if you want to track a symptom from the list (Energy levels, Feeling, Abdominal pain, Backache, Coughing, Fever, Dizziness, Headache, Nausea) you will have to enable “Reminders” and you will receive notifications to track that symptom.
We will send you notifications if you decide to follow the Health Plans - two weekly notifications about health tips and daily reminders for symptom tracking.
We might send you a notification asking for your feedback about the experience with our OSH Provider.
You will receive daily notifications about our Daily Drop-In content.
Event Based Push Notifications are based on your behaviour within our Services. For example we might send notifications of this type as a reminder when you have not authenticated, have not used the Services for a certain period of time (three months), have started an assessment but have not finished it (three months) etc. We might also send notifications based on your visits to certain pages within the Health Library (Health a-Z) or to inform you of the OneStop Health™ health service providers available in your territory. We may use your in-App Profile data such as but not limited to age, gender and acquisition channel, to send various push notifications related to such characteristics (for example we might send an article about burnout to users of a certain age group, or send you articles we think might be interesting to you etc.). Please bear in mind that the Push Notifications provide general information only without considering your specific circumstances, assessment outcome, medical and assessment history. For this reason, you should always consult a medical professional before acting on any of the Push Notifications we provide.
If you do not want to receive notifications you can opt out within your device App Settings/Notifications. You can edit the list of different type of notifications that we might send you by untoggling the button(e.g. symptom that you want to track or finish tracking).
Health Journal with Journal functionality enables you to track your previous activities within the App, such as access Reports, Trackers and Articles that you have viewed in a timely manner.
Trackers. Trackers enable you to see what symptoms you are tracking. By clicking on Trackers you will be able to see a summary of your weekly tracking symptom.
Reports enable you to access and delete your past Assessment Reports.
The Notes section enables you to take notes about your wellbeing and health on a daily basis. The purpose of this feature is to keep track of your health journey meaning that you are not allowed to share any third party personal data. The notes you provide will not be taken into account when using the Self-Assessment Tool.
In older versions of the App you can access the Wellbeing health plan and Sleep health plan from your main menu. Based on your answers you will be advised to follow the 28-day Health Plan that will help you develop healthy habits like getting active, eating well, sleeping better and reducing your stress. You will receive weekly themes to encourage you to focus on each specific habit. You will also receive weekly notifications with health tips and daily reminders for symptom tracking. The plan length is 28 days and you can always stop using the feature. This feature is currently available only to Android users.
Within this feature we will show you different health and wellbeing articles, one per day. If the topic will be of your interest and you will click on it we will store this article into My Journal.
If you are using Healthily with Dettol you can access hygiene content created by Dettol team. The hygiene content includes articles about hygiene, namely The Basics, Condition Library and Hygiene & Health. You can access Dettol Amazon Store where you can buy Dettol products and Dettol website to learn more about Dettol within this section.
You can search our Health Library (in older versions of our App known as Health A-Z) to find information on many health queries. This information is either sourced directly from the UK’s NHS or content created and verified by our team of doctors following rigorous review and adherence to safety procedures.
All Articles section includes articles about different medical conditions and symptoms. Articles are split into different groups that will make it easier for you to search:
Each article includes a short introduction and you can click "Learn More" for additional information. Additional information consists of different sections which may include: Introduction (basic information), Symptoms (common symptoms for the condition), Causes (explanation of what could cause the disease), Diagnosing (explanation on how the condition is diagnosed), Treatment (information on available treatments), Prevention (information on preventing the condition from occurring), Living With (useful information that will help you cope with the condition), Complications (explanations of possible complications), Vaccination (information about vaccinations), Getting Tested for (information on tests available to diagnose the condition), Variations of the main condition, Surgery (information about possible surgery), Recovery (information about recovery), People's Stories (useful information from patients diagnosed with the condition).
By clicking on the article of interest it is possible that you will receive a pop up e.g. “Do you want help for clinical depression?”. By clicking ''yes'' we will inform you know about a specific health service provider available in your location (OneStop Health Service).
Older versions of our Services include “All Articles” in "Health Library" section.
Saved Items enable you to save an article of interest to the Health Library by clicking on the “Saved Items” icon. By doing so you will be able to access an article without internet connection in section the “Saved Articles” sections of the Health Library.
Download articles enables you to download articles to your phone for offline usage.
You can search Symptoms A-Z on our Site within Health Topics section and find information about conditions that could be the cause of a symptom. This information is content created and verified by our team of doctors following rigorous review and adherence to safety procedures.
Each Symptom page includes some of the conditions that could be the cause of the symptom/s and it is not a complete list of possible conditions. By clicking on the condition from the list, you will be redirected to the article available in Health Library section.
You can access the latest information about coronavirus (COVID-19) within our Coronavirus hub on our Site. This information is content created/verified by our team of doctors. You can as well access our Coronavirus Risk Assessment within this hub. If in doubt always consult with your doctor and follow your national authorities’ advice on how to behave during the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) outbreak.
Ask Maureen. You can send health questions by commenting our latest Facebook post and our Chief Medical Officer, Prof Dr Maureen Baker will pick the best question of the day and post a reply. The OneStop Health™ Marketplace consists of vetted professional health providers who supply specific services, treatments and products to help you with staying healthy and medical or health related problems. Our directory of public and private health services and products that are available in your country includes various services and products such as Talk to a real Doctor, GP Home visits, Mental Health Support, Appointments with Specialists etc. You can search for a service or product that you are interested in by using these categories ''Doctor/nurse or Therapist'', ''Treatments and Self Help'', ''Other Services For My Health''; or in older versions of our Service ''Doctors and Health Professionals'', “Self Help and Tests”, “Others”. We use the information that was calculated by our Self-Assessment Tool to present you with the services available on the OneStop Health™ Marketplace that might be useful to you. This feature enables us to use the longitude and latitude of your mobile device to find services near you, and related information. We use Google Maps’ APIs (namely, Places Search and Places Details). You will have to enable location services to use this service.
You can personalise your experience by entering and saving your personal details and health background in your in-App Profile (“Your Profile”, “Profile”, "Account").
Account details. You can edit your name, sex, year of birth and account details within this feature. You can back up your data by signing up with your email/Google/Facebook account as well you can Delete your account.
Manage trackers. By clicking on Manage trackers you can track the symptom from the list (Energy levels, Mood, Sleep length, Sleep quality, Abdominal pain, Back pain, Coughing, Dizziness, Fever, Headache, Nausea, Posture, Activity levels, Back Exercises, Relaxation Exercises, Pain medication, Stretches, walking, Exercises, Wellbeing) with the Symptom tracking functionality. You will receive notifications to track the selected symptom by untogling the button next to the symptom that you want to track. In some cases, you can also sync the Health Tracker with your health and fitness apps.
Data. You can download a copy of the personal data you have provided to us directly to your device. You can as well Delete your health background and Delete your account within this feature.
Settings. You can enable your location services and edit your notification preferences within this feature.
Help and support. You can find answers to the most commonly asked questions about Healthily/Your.MD and our services.
About Healthily/Your.MD. You can access our Site, social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) as well you can rete us on App Store/Play store.
Older versions of our App include this features within Your Profile, namely
Profile info consists of Basic info (your name, gender, year of birth, location and email address) and Health Background as described above.
Self-Assessments enable you to answer questions about a specific health related issue and help you understand/learn about it. You can choose between different Self assessments, namely ADHD, Alcohol Misuse, Eating disorder, Excessive Daytime Sleepiness, Generalised Anxiety, Sleep, Social Anxiety and Wellbeing. We could add new self-assessments in the future (this feature is currently available only to Android users).
Reports (Consultations reports) enable you to access and delete your past Reports. For more information on the Consultation Report please see the ''Self-Assessment Tool'' section.
Manage trackers as described above.
Settings enable you to manage your Profile settings, set Notification preferences and review your Privacy settings.
Profile includes the Backup section where you can log in with your email/Google/Facebook account and then access your Profile information from different devices. You can Request your data by simply clicking on the “Request your data” option. iOS users will receive a copy of their data via email within 30 days, Android users will be able to download their data from within the App. We will send your data within 30 days of receipt of your request. If we need to acquire your data from a third party, this might take longer. You can request your data only once every 12 hours. You can Delete profile by clicking on “Delete profile’’ option. When you select this option, we anonymise your data by deleting all directly identifiable personal data from our databases and you won’t be able to retrieve them. By enabling notifcations you will personalise your experience.
You are able to access our Coronavirus Risk Assessment within 'Assess'. If you agree Your Story to be published in an anonymised manner on our platforms or social media you hereby grant us the worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual, royalty-free licence under any and all intellectual property right that you own or control, to use, copy, publish, display, reproduce, translate, modify, and/or commercially exploit Your Story.
TESTER PROGRAM. If you decide to participate in our usability tests, you will be able to test our app versions which are not yet available to the public (beta version) and also preview new features and prototypes, you may be invited to join usability testing sessions, fill in our research surveys and take part in video interviews or focus groups to share your own healthcare experiences ("User Tests"). We will use various third party providers, to make different tests available to you. Your participation in User Tests is always voluntary. All the information that will be disclosed to you during the User Tests is confidential information of Healthily/Your.MD. You are not allowed to download, copy, sell, lease or in any other way use the information disclosed to you except for the User Tests purposes. You are not allowed to disclose any confidential information to third parties. Healthily/Your.MD content means every content available on the Site, Blog, Health Library, Symptoms A-Z or any other Service. We release new content through our Blog. You can find various health related articles, written by our team of doctors, updates on our Services and OneStop Health™ Providers.
Third Party content means products or services which are offered or provided by third parties and/or links to such content within our Services.
We are in no way responsible for the actions of these third parties, the content of their sites, their products or services, the use of the information you provide to them, or any of the products or services they may offer and no agency relationship exists between us and the third parties.
Subscriptions. Some of our Services are available only upon subscription. You can choose between monthly or yearly subscription fee (the “Subscription”) and based on your selection the Subscription will be automatically renewed for an additional equivalent period. Healthily may revise the pricing for the Services offered at any time. Any change in the Subscription will go into effect for the next billing period after we provide notice of the change. After purchase you can manage your Subscription or turn off the auto-renewal, within your App Store/Google Play Account Settings. Make sure you terminate the Subscription when deleting/uninstalling the app or if you want to stop using or archive one of the Healthily Services that you have subscribed to (e.g. Back Pain Hub).
Payment Processors. Payments will be processed through the App Store or Google Play from which you originally downloaded Healthily. We encourage you to learn abut the applicable ‘in-App purchases’ rules and policies directly from app stores. In no event Healthily will be responsible for the actions or inactions of any third party payment processor, including, but not limited to, system downtime or payment services outage.
You acknowledge and agree that all billing and transaction processes are handled by the App Store or Google Play provider from whose platform you downloaded the App and are governed by the App Store or Google Play provider's terms and conditions/EULA. If you have any payment related issues with in-App purchases, then you need to contact the app store provider directly.
Healthily itself does not collect or store payment card information.
Free Trial. You will not be charged during the period of the free trial, but the Subscription will be automatically charged to the credit card associated with your account for the subsequent period the day after your free trial period has ended. Thereafter, you will be charged at monthly or yearly intervals until you decide to cancel. Please make a note of when your free trial will expire as you may not receive additional notice prior to the automatic charge if you do not cancel before the free trial period expires.

SELF-ASSESSMENT TOOL it is a chatbot and not a real doctor. It is good at identifying less serious conditions that can improve with your simple actions and understanding (even if the symptoms you report suggest seeing a doctor) provided that you’re normally healthy and don’t have any chronic, complex or rare conditions. It can also provide useful information about specific conditions to help you decide on the next steps.
You should act on the suggested next steps if you think you have any of the presented conditions or symptoms. Always visit a doctor if you’re in doubt of the assessment outcome, if your symptoms worsen or don’t improve or if you are concerned. Call an emergency service in case of emergency. You should never rely on or make health or well-being decisions based on information provided by our Services without first consulting a doctor or other appropriate health professionals.
Although it has information about many health problems, it is not perfect and can’t consider all the information your doctor can. Although it is a quick learner, it is not able to identify all conditions or symptoms and might not be able to understand complex sentences.

When using our Services through social media note that the information you share including health data will be processed by social media provider and might be used to build a profile of you and could result in receiving adverts including relating to health issues. This processing is not controlled by us and we do not have access to the data stored within social media about you.
Ask Maureen. By sending questions relating to coronavirus (COVID-19) you will be disclosing your health data publicly on Facebook and this data might be processed to build a profile of you for advertising purposes. We cannot protect your privacy by using this service. Note that we won’t reply to all questions, meaning that we might not choose your question and you won’t get an answer for your query. Unless allowed by these Terms and as permitted by the functionality of the Service, you agree not to: a) copy our App, Web App or any portion of the Services; b) give or sell or otherwise make available our App or any portion of the Services to anybody else (c) change our App, Web App or any portion of the Services in any way, (d) look for or access the code of our App, Web App or any portion of the Service that we have not expressly published publicly for general use. Our Services are apps embedded on different operating systems. You agree not to use our Services in any other way than through our unmodified official client software (apps and web app).

These actions are not limited and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.
We are constantly updating and improving the Services to try and find ways to provide you with new and innovative features and services. Improvements and updates are also made to reflect changing technologies, tastes, behaviours and the way people use the Internet and our Services. In order to do this, we may need to update, reset, stop offering and/or supporting a particular part of the Services, or feature relating to the Services. These changes to the Services may affect your past activities on the Service and the features that you use. Any changes to the Service could involve your Service elements being deleted or reset.
We make the App, Web App and our Website available for access using internet infrastructure, but are not responsible for the infrastructure ourselves. If you wish to use our Services, you should ensure that you have an internet-enabled device and a sufficient internet connection available. We are not liable for connection and/or technical errors such as hyperlinks not working etc.
WEB APP. You can access our web based application Symptom Checker (Web App) through our Site. Within Web App you can Check symptoms, access Coronavirus Risk Assessment and Health tests (Self-assessments, Quizzes, BMI Calculator). Currently you are only able to use the Web App as a Guest User which means that the following features are not available in the Web App: ‘'Health Goals’’, ‘’Health Tracker’’, ‘’Notes’’, past ‘’Assessments’’, past ‘’Assessment Reports’’, ‘’Saved Items’’, ‘’Your Profile’’, storing of self-assessment/quizzes, being able to see triage and next steps in articles, “Health Journal” and “Health Plans”. Please be aware that when using our Web App, the limited functionality will not enable you to store past Assessments, self-assessment/quizzes and you will not be able to review past Assessment reports.
Mobile App. We offer our Services via Android (v.4.1.8) and iOS platform (v.4.02.06) ("Apps").
We cannot provide all services necessary for the successful operation of our Services by ourselves. We therefore use various providers for the purposes of offering the Services to you and improve your user experience. To make our Services simple to use, you can use it with messengers. To make our Health Tracker more efficient, you can also sync your data from other service providers with our Health Tracker. When you use our Services via messengers or in combination with other services, you also consent to such third party’s terms of service, so please read their terms of service carefully before you start using our Services.
When using messengers you are able to use our Self-Assessment Tool available on selected messengers. Additional features like the Health Library, OneStop Health™ Marketplace, Health Tracker, Assessment reports or Your Profile are only available within our App. However you are able to access Articles via Chat (e.g. if you search for “Migraine” you will get the Migraine article which you will be able to view on our website).
All messenger sessions use an operational system called Morse that integrates the individual messenger platform into our systems. Via Morse you can use the same software as the App and only the platform will be provided by a third party messenger.
We have integrated our Services with Free Basics to enable you to access our Services where internet access may be less affordable. You will be able to chat with our bot and find health information by reading articles. Free Basics by Facebook offers access to basic websites and third party services free of charge. Users of the VHI Health assistant app are able to use limited Services, namely the Symptom Checker (symptom checking/ask questions/type/find health info), Quizzes, BMI calculator, Top Tips and Self-assessment tests and read medical articles based on your reported symptoms, all available on VHI Health Assistant App. VHI will embed the our API (Application Programming Interface) to the VHI Health Assistant App. The limited Services will be technically provided as a REST API over the internet using the HTTPs protocol. It will not demand any authentication, but will be secured by an API key provided to and specific to VHI.
We use various third party providers for usability testing: UserTesting.
We use various third party providers for tester program correspondence and surveys, to send out our newsletters, to send push notifications, and to schedule interviews with testers: Airship, Calendly, Mailchimp, Zoom.
We also use third party provider to further tailor and personalise users’ experience of using our website: ChatBot.

Reliance on any information provided via our Services is solely at your own risk. We do not make, and hereby disclaim, any and all express, implied or statutory warranties, including implied warranties of condition, uninterrupted use, merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement of third party rights, and warranties (if any) arising from a course of dealing, usage, or trade practice. The use of our Services is at your sole risk. Our Services are not substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, therapy or treatment. You should never rely on or make health or well-being decisions which are based on information provided by our Services, including in the Assessment Report, without first consulting a doctor or other appropriate health professionals. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of, or limitations on, implied warranties or the limitations on the applicable statutory rights of a consumer, so some or all of the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you.

In no event will we be liable to you resulting from your interaction with any third party or third party technology in connection with our Services.
Some jurisdictions do not allow a limitation of liability for death, personal injury, fraudulent misrepresentations or certain intentional or negligent acts, or violation of specific statutes, or the limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so some or all of the above limitations of liability may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by laws of England and Wales. This Agreement is governed by, and is to be construed in accordance with, laws of England and Wales.
In addition, in no event will we be liable to you for anything resulting from your interaction with any third party or third party technology in connection with our Services and no agency relationship exists between us an any such third party.
Subject to this section, our total liability for all losses you suffer arising from, or in connection with, the use of our Services shall be no greater than the amount paid by you for the use of our Services.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Your.MD and its employees, contractors, officers, and directors from any and all claims, suits, damages, costs, lawsuits, fines, penalties, liabilities, expenses (including attorney fees) that arise from your use or misuse of our Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party. Healthily/Your.MD reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will cooperate in asserting any available defenses. You agree that a breach of these Terms will cause irreparable injury to Healthily/Your.MD for which monetary damages would not be an adequate remedy, and Healthily/Your.MD shall be entitled to seek equitable relief in addition to any remedies it may have hereunder, or at law without a bond, other security, or proof of damages.
If at any time, you do not feel that you can agree to these Terms or any changes made to the Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service. If you wish to end your use of the Service, please deactivate your account by deleting our Services, namely uninstall our App, Messengers, or stop using our Site.
We may immediately end your use of the Services if you breach these Terms or applicable legislation. We may also withdraw the Service at any time, if we give you reasonable notice that we plan to do this.
If you or we end your use of the Services, or we withdraw the Service as described in this section, we may delete any information we hold about you. You will also lose any rights you have to use the Service or access our content. We will not offer you compensation for any losses.
