Cancer of the oesophagus, also known as oesophageal cancer, is an uncommon but serious type of cancer that affects the oesophagus (gullet).

  • Difficult or painful swallowing
  • Feeling sick or nausea
  • Loss of appetite
  • Burning pain in chest or upper abdomen
